PROJECT SUMMARY
The Apartments at 249 Main Street is a new six-story mixed income housing podium construction on an urban infill site in a densely built area of Nashua, NH.
The project is neatly fit into a .2 acre lot and consists of 45 general occupancy units, 9 one-bedroom and 26 two-bedroom, with a community room and laundry facilities.
Many challenges were overcome in working on such a small lot with limited access for staging and parking. Hutter coordinated with the city for the closure one lane of Main Street for the duration of the project and staging was held off site and delivered when needed. An overnight road cloasure and detour lane allowed us to install rooftop units overnight We implemented swing staging suspended from the roof to install siding. To accomodate the small space everything for the job was brought through an alleyway.
